The calendar was published by the industry association Camera della Moda and testifies to the growing importance of co-ed shows. There are seven of them in the coming season: Atsushi Nakashima, Boss, Bottega Veneta, Fila, GCDS, Gucci and Missoni.
“Milan is becoming more attractive and interesting, and we are unveiling a strong calendar, not least because of the important commitment of our key brands and the presence of international labels who have chosen to present their collections to Milan,” said Carlo, President of Camera della Moda Capasa, talking to weboux.com.
“We are very pleased to include Peter Pilotto, Boss and DROMe in our program, along with many new brands, and I am sure that the upcoming edition of Milan Fashion Week will be a strong and sustainable event!” Carlo Capasa enthused.
Several houses, including Act N.1, Tiziano Guardini and Marco Rambaldi, will be able to defile with the support of the Camera della Moda and the CNMI Fashion Trust. Others, such as MRZ, Shuting Qiu and Ultrachic are supported exclusively by the camera.
The evening event Milano Moda Donna Fashion Hub will take place at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci. The Franca Sozzani GCC Award for Best Young Designer will be presented to designer Gilberto Calzolari at the 2018 Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia. The Spazio Cavallerizze will become a showroom for the collections of young designers later this week.
The Green Carpet Fashion Awards are the highlight of the fashion week and traditionally take place in La Scala.
