A car in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Mohan Bhagwat’s envoy turned turtle on Thursday, leaving a CISF jawan injured.

Mohan Bhagwat was returning to Nagpur from Chandrapur when the incident took place, an RSS functionary from Nagpur said.

“A tyre of one of the vehicles from Mohan Bhagwat’s convoy burst and one person traveling in it reportedly suffered injuries,” Chandrapur superintendent of police Maheshwar Reddy told PTI.

The incident occurred around 5 pm on Varora-Nandori Road in Chandrapur district, he said.

Bhagwat is fine, the RSS functionary said.

The RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat earlier survived an accident on October 6, 2017, when his speeding car rammed rammed into another vehicle in his cavalcad on the Yamuna Highway in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district.
